＝「ミアクスマ・ショーケース in 大阪」のご案内＝
Meakusma（ミアクスマ）はベルギーの小都市オイペンを拠点にするインディペンデント音楽レーベルだ。この小さなレーベルが情熱を傾けて主宰する＜ミアクスマ・フェスティバル＞は、決してセレブ招致に重きを置かず、心憎いほどのアーティスト選別眼と審美眼をそなえ、スタッフ良し、オーディエンス良し、環境設備良しという三拍子揃った音楽フェスとして出演者と観客の双方向から評判となり、心からの音楽好きが集う場として、近年のお祭りフェス流行の中では異色で突出した存在となっている。
今回、そんなミアクスマの主催者達をベルギーから迎え、日本のアーティストとの交流イベントを大阪と東京で開催する。メインはこの大阪編で、YPY／西川文章／IKU SAKANによって昨年設立された創作スペース、ICECREAM MUSICと地元大阪のエム・レコードとの共同開催。ゲストにSUGAI KEN（RVNG/EM）を招聘し、Ryo MurakamiとYPYと7FOが共演するスペシャルな一夜となる。これから大阪音楽シーンの新たな発信源となりそうな北加賀屋の新スポット、通称「音ビル」で開催！

SUGAI KEN:
日本の夜を想起させる独特なスタイルを軸に、国内のコアな俚伝をギミカルに電化させるトラックメーカー。2017年作『不浮不埋 UkabazUmorezU』が国際的な評価(Pitchfork等)を獲得。2016年作『鯰上 On The Quakefish』はリプレスもレーベル元で完売。日本屈指のレーベル〈EM Records〉からの作品『如の夜庭 Garden in the Night (An Electronic Re-creation)』により世界中のコアなリスナーとコネクト。LOS APSON?の2014&2016～2018年間チャートに作品がそれぞれランクインし、Fabriclive(UK)への楽曲提供も 行った。また、BBC Radio、NTS Radio、Red Bull Radio等世界中のラジオ局にて頻繁に楽曲が使用されている。Solid Steel(Ninjatune)シリーズにRob Boothを唸らせた不思議なmixを提供。昨年のEUツアー(by RVNG Intl.)ではCafe OTO(UK)公演がsold outになる等、注目度の高さをうかがわせ、全13公演(6ヶ国)にてその独自性を遺憾なく発揮した。(ツアー期間中、Worldwide FMにてインタビューも収録) 国内外からの依頼多数により、現在複数のリリースを控える。尚、現行シーンでの活動と並行し、国内の郷土芸能アーカイヴプロジェクトに複数携わる等、亜種 な活動を兀兀と展開中。
Sugai Ken, a sound musician that produces electrical noises inspired by Japanese folk traditions, has a distinctive style that is reminiscent of nightlife in Japan. Ken’s latest record, UkabazUmorezU (2017), which translates to ‘‘slow and steady wins the race”, has gained international praise from platforms such as Pitchfork. His album On the Quakefish, recorded in 2016, both original and repressed version were immediatley sold out. One of the most prominent Japanese labels, EM Records, released his Goto no Yoniwa (Garden in the Night), which further exposed him to international audiences.Ken’s works were featured on LOS APSON? charted throughout 2014, 2016 and 2017 and 2018. He also provided songs to Fabriclive (UK). In addition, Ken’s songs were frequently used by radios such as BBC Radio, NTS Radio and Red Bull Radio. He provided a mysterious mix to the Solid Steel (Ninjatune) series which had previously deeply impressed Rob Booth. During his EU tour (by RVNG Intl.) in April 2018, Ken attracted attention as his show at Cafe OTO was sold out, and he was able to demonstrate his originality at all 13 performances (across six countries) to its fullest extent. (Interviews were recorded on Worldwide FM during the tour). Currently he have to control the release in Japan and abroad, due to overwhelming demand. Aside from Ken’s current main activities, he is also constantly participating in unorthodox activities, such as several Japanese local talent archive projects.
Ryo Murakami:
2006年頃より楽曲をリリース、ライブ活動を開始。2013年、自身のレーべル”Depth of Decay”を始動、ファーストアルバム”Depth of Decay”を同年7月にリリース。以降、sludge-tapes、Meakusma、Bedouinよりセカンドアルバム「Deist 」、3rdアルバム「Esto」をリリース。2018年はSvreca主宰のSemanticaより、カセットのリリース。2013年〜2018年までVinyl&カセットでリリースされた全てのアルバムが、Kyou RecordsからCD版で再発され、8月には、ニューアルバム「Sea」をDepth of DecayよりLPにてリリースした。
YPY：
日野浩志郎によるソロプロジェクト。カセットテープレーベルbirdFriend主宰。「goat」「bonanzas」というバンドのプレイヤー兼コンポーザーであり、クラシック楽器・電子音ハイブリッド大編成プロジェクト「Virginal Variations」、10台以上のスピーカーや移動する演奏者を混じえた全身聴覚ライブ「GEIST（ガイスト）」の作曲、演出を行う。これまでNous、EM Records、Where To Now?、TALなどから作品を発表している。

YPY is a solo project by an Osaka-based musician Koshiro Hino who also plays a central role in the bands Goat and Bonanzas. The compositions he produce for the bands are marked by the frequent use of muted sounds and overtones, while actively employing the sounds that are not part of the standard chromatic scale. Its primitive feel gets often referred to the current techno scene and was credited for achieving a new original style by elaborately synthesizing experimental and dance music. Also, numerous works have been produced alongside under the moniker of YPY from his own cassette label birdFriend. Following his first EP “Visions” release from Berlin-based Nous in 2015, his debut album “Zurhyrethm” is out this June from EM records from Osaka. In 2015, a new project was launched, named “Virginal Variations”, which he explores the classic-electronic crossover with a larger ensemble.
7FO（ななえふおー）:
2010年から活動する電子音楽家。数枚の自主リリース、アート展示での環境／効果音等の制作を経て、2016年にニューヨークのRVNG Intl.傘下レーベルからアルバムを発表。続いて英Bokeh Versionsなど海外レーベルの依頼で作品を発表し、ハイエンドなアーティスト達から絶対的な評価を受ける。その動向に熱い注目が集まる中、2018年9月にエム・レコードから新作『竜のぬけがら』をリリース。スタジオ作家に思われがちだが、ライブ演奏にも定評がある。
