待ちに待ったJUU4EとGJPの再来日ライブ 大阪編は、2019年と同じく、ソーコア・ファクトリーに大阪のダンスホール・クルー TOUCH THE SKYの誇るウルトラHI-FIなサウンドシステムをこちらも５年ぶりに設置し、あの最高に心地よい爆音現場を再び演出します。爆音なのに耳が痛くなく溝落ちがワクワクするような、あの高品質サウンドをぜひまたご体験ください。
■GJP (from Thailand) G. Jee改めGJP（ジージェイピー）はJUU4Eと共に活動する歌手でラッパー。1999年生。子供の頃から作曲を始めたという彼女は、ジュウさんにその素質を認められ、タイの風習で師弟関係を結び行動を共にしている。ジュウさんとの連名アルバム『ニュー・ルークトゥン』でタイ国外デビュー。その後、スティルイチミヤのYoung-Gと共同プロデュースでソロ作を発表。キャリア初期からライブアクトをこなして身に付けたヴォーカルとパフォーマンスには定評がある。犯罪・人間心理学への興味を持ち、現在は人間とトラウマに関する歌詞を書いている。日本で女子ファン多し。
■NOISE VIBEZ 岸和田生まれ、岸和田育ち、レゲエDEEJAYであると同時にだんじりの上で団扇を手に華麗に舞う大工方としての顔も持つ生粋のラガ、NOISE VIBEZ。RED MONKEYのレーベルGHETTO YOUTHよりシングル「THC」を2003年にリリース。2004年には今は亡き泉州のカリスマDEEJAY、446より「RISE UP SOUND」を受け継ぎ、2020年に1stフルアルバム『HIGH GRADE STYLE』、2024年セカンド『OUT LAW ~Gangsta Blues~』をリリース。天性の声と音楽的センスから生み出された「THC」や「のんだくれ」「446の風」といった曲の数々は、泉州の現場をBUSSさせ続けている。 レゲエとヒップホップが根付き、古くから受け継がれるだんじりや地車文化、暴走族やサウンドシステムなどのガレージカルチャーと絡み合い、世界にも例を見ない融合果たしている泉州の地において、NOISE VIBEZこそ土地（ローカル）をレペゼンするということを真に体現したアーティストと言えるだろう。
■OMK (ONE MEKONG) stillichimiyaのYOUNG-G、MMM、DJユニットSoi48を中心とした、アジアの地下ヒップホップ・シーンからクラブ、ローカルなディスコまで潜入調査し、インターネットの世界ではわからない現地体験をグルーヴに落とし込むDJコレクティブ。タイのJUU4E、GJPをはじめアジア各国にクルーが存在。タイのSAIYOR、ベトナムのVANA HOUSEを代表としたアジア産ベースミュージック=ADM、最先端ヒップホップ、レゲエからレコードに刻み込まれた歌謡曲、民謡までジャンル、フォーマットを問わずプレイするのがモットー。そのスタイルにアジア各国のクリエイター間で賛同者が続出し、2023年にラオスでOMK企画のイベントが開催された。発刊物にタイのヒップホップ・メディアrap is nowに取り上げられ賛否両論となった『OMK #001』（通称OMK新聞）がある。
OMK (One Mekong) is a DJ collective led by YOUNG-G of stillichimiya, MMM and DJ unit Soi48, who go undercover in Asia’s underground hip-hop scene, clubs and local discos, drawing from local experiences to create a vibe that cannot be found online or elsewhere. Crews exist in Thailand’s JUU4E, GJ and other Asian countries. Their motto is to play Asian bass music (ADM) such as SAIYOR from Thailand and VANA HOUSE from Vietnam, cutting-edge hip-hop and reggae, as well as songs and folk songs etched on records, regardless of genre or format. The style has attracted a number of supporters among creators in Asian countries, and an event organised by OMK was held in Laos in 2023. OMK’s publications include OMK#001 (a.k.a. OMK Newspaper), which was featured in the Thai hip-hop media rap was, and still is, controversial.
What is ADM? ADM = Asian Dance Music is a local dance music culture that has taken root in multiple Asian countries, where track makers create rhythms to please their respective crowds, with DJs, MCs and clubs working in unison to create local trends. BUDOTS in the Philippines, VANA HOUSE in Vietnam, FUNKOT in Indonesia & SAIYOR in Thailand – there is dance music in Asia that rivals BAILE FUNK and AMAPIANO. If you sneak into local clubs and experience the overwhelming energy, you will realise that a dance culture as strong as that of Detroit or Berlin has taken root in Asia. Now is the time for Asian countries to work together to fuse traditional and cutting-edge music to create a new sound for Asia!
